PALACE Copper & Brass Dining Set

Product description

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE

Both bowls in this set are living metals, and they change. Your copper water bowl and your brass food bowl will each develop a patina — the copper’s color will deepen and darker spots or marks may appear, and the brass will deepen and warm in color and may dull or darken in places. That is tarnish, it is completely normal, and it is what real, uncoated metals are supposed to do. It is not a defect, and there is nothing wrong with your bowls.

Why it can happen quickly: our copper bowls are 99.9% pure copper with no lacquer or coating, so the surface reacts with air and water straight away; our brass bowls are solid brass with no lacquer or coating, so the surface reacts with air, moisture and food. Water minerals, food acids, humidity, and even natural oils from handling can bring the patina on faster — sometimes within the first days of use. Every bowl ages at its own pace, and no two will ever look exactly alike. That is part of the beauty of a handcrafted piece.

It is safe: patina is a surface change only. It does not affect the quality of the water or the bowls’ performance, and both bowls remain perfectly safe for your pet — the copper bowl for drinking, the brass bowl for everyday meals.

A quick clean brings back the shine: for the copper bowl, wash with warm water and a soft cloth; for the brass bowl, wash with warm soapy water after meals and dry well — drying is what keeps water marks and dulling at bay. For a deeper shine on either bowl, use our Perfect Polish (or, for copper, a little lemon/vinegar with salt), then rinse and dry well. Most owners let the patina develop and love the character it gives the bowls; the choice is yours.

Always hand wash with warm soapy water before first use.

Because patina is a natural characteristic of pure copper and solid brass — not a fault — we do not offer refunds or returns on bowls for tarnish or patina development.

Meet the PALACE Dining Set

A pure copper water bowl and a solid brass food bowl, matched in our palace pattern finish. Copper for water. Brass for food. Together they make a complete, elevated feeding setup for your dog or cat, and a gift pet parents will actually keep on display.

What's in the Set

  • 1 PALACE Copper Pet Water Bowl: 99.9% pure copper, never lined or coated inside, so your pet drinks real copper-infused water.
  • 1 PALACE Brass Pet Food Bowl: solid brass with a weighted base that resists tipping and sliding at mealtime.

Palace Pattern

Both bowls carry our exclusive green and cream palace pattern across the exterior, with peacock and elephant motifs — the copper water bowl and the brass food bowl are a matched pair, finished to protect the pattern from water and daily wear, with uncoated solid metal inside each bowl.

Product Specifications

  • Medium: 32 oz capacity each, 6.25" diameter
  • Large: 64 oz capacity each, 8.25" diameter
  • Water bowl: 99.9% pure copper
  • Food bowl: solid brass
  • BPA-free and non-toxic
  • Handcrafted, built to last with proper care

The PALACE Dining Set pairs our patterned 99.9% pure copper water bowl with a matching patterned solid brass food bowl — copper for water, brass for food. Both are solid, uncoated metal inside, handcrafted, and sized Medium (32 oz) or Large (64 oz).

Why Copper for Water, Brass for Food

Pure copper has a naturally antibacterial surface and has been used for water vessels for centuries. Solid brass is sturdy and easy to wash, making it a durable, reusable alternative to plastic or ceramic food bowls.

Always hand wash with warm soapy water before first use.

A Thoughtful Gift

For the pet parent who wants a richly patterned, handcrafted dining set and a healthier, more beautiful way to feed and hydrate their companion. Perfect for new puppy and kitten homes, adoption anniversaries, birthdays and the holidays.

Care and Natural Character

  • Natural oxidation (copper): pure copper develops brown, black or aqua-green tones over time. This is expected and is proof of real copper, not a coated imitation.
  • Natural patina (brass): brass develops a patina with use. A light polish with our Perfect Polish Cleaner restores the shine.
  • Handcrafted character: each bowl is handcrafted, so minor surface variations may occur. These reflect craftsmanship, not defects, and aren't eligible for refund or exchange.
  • Brass bowl: hand wash and dry. For longest life, avoid extended soaking and dishwasher cycles.

Health Benefits of Copper Pet Bowls

Copper-infused water may support your pet's immune system, wound healing, joint health, coat condition and digestion.

Important: Copper Storage Disease

Certain breeds (Bedlington Terriers, West Highland White Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Skye Terriers, Labrador Retrievers) are genetically predisposed to Copper Storage Disease, with females more commonly affected than males. This condition is exceedingly rare in cats.

REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY: For health and safety reasons, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges.
